Allusions has always worked closely with cancer patients because of the connection between chemotherapy treatments and hair loss.
One way we commemorated Breast Cancer Awareness Month was to proudly support the Pink Ribbon Luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 2. We’ve been a sponsor of that event for since its 2003 inception. It was so inspiring and uplifting to see so many people and companies supporting this important cause.
Brave women undergoing breast cancer treatments in Cincinnati often visit Allusions because of our wide selection of wigs. We offer a lot of options. We can create a natural look with a wig that looks like the patient’s original hairstyle – it would be almost undetectable to others. Some women may choose an altogether different look from what they had to celebrate a new style, color and look. Others may opt for a headscarf, hat or chemo beanie.
We understand the emotions and anxiety that a cancer patient feels when dealing with hair loss related to chemotherapy treatment. We will work with you to understand your personal needs and preferences and help you choose what works for you.
We’ll take care of the hair, so you can take care of the fight.
